MISSION STATEMENT

To support the structural engineering community, through continuing education, technology transfer, advancement of building code provisions, strengthening registration requirements, and enhancement of public awareness of the services provided by our members

Vision Statement
Through the advancement of structural engineering knowledge, its dissemination and its application, strive to promote public safety and welfare

  • Promote and support active association with other professional organizations such as the ASCE South Carolina Section
  • Promote and encourage strong professional development
  • Promote and support interaction between practice and academia
  • Promote and provide effective programs relating to the practice of structural engineering
  • Promote the interests of the structural engineer within governmental agencies
  • Promote and expand public perception of structural engineering through education, public service, and outreach activities
